Charm and Creativity at Salt & Kai

By Shayna Mace

Kelsey Bradford’s Salt & Kai began as a seasonal pop-up concept and has since grown into a thriving boutique, located on Geneva Street. The warm and welcoming shop carries jewelry, apparel, home goods, fragrances, gifts and more.

In addition to shopping, guests can take part in hands-on creative experiences at the shop’s charm bar, scent bar and creative café, or take part in a seasonal workshop or host their own private event.

The boutique is the culmination of Bradford’s varied professional experience, which includes graphic and web design, marketing, visual merchandising and brand strategy.

“My professional background gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, customer experience, product presentation and creating a cohesive brand environment. In many ways, Salt & Kai has become the fullest expression of all those pieces coming together,” explains Bradford.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Bradford made her way to Lake Geneva after she and her husband, Jordan, got married. Bradford says Lake Geneva felt like a natural place for Salt & Kai to come to life.

“There’s something special about the mix here — the beauty of the lake, the history of the town, the local community and the visitors who come looking for meaningful experiences. I wanted to create a space that could serve both locals and visitors — somewhere people could slow down, shop, connect and leave feeling inspired,” she says.
